UCASU is excited to be collaborating with Turner Contemporary on a late night event, celebrating the launch of their Spring 2019 exhibition ‘Katie Paterson and JMW Turner’.

The exhibition shows the work of Scottish artist Katie Paterson, known for extraordinary works such as planting 1000 trees in Oslo that will produce the paper for an anthology in 100 years’ time. Paterson has also selected a group of over 20 JMW Turner watercolours and paintings to be interspersed with her works.

We at UCASU are thrilled to be working with Turner Contemporary to help launch such an extraordinary exhibition, as well as to share the passion and talent of UCA students.

We are looking for Students to take part in our own late night event as part of the opening of the new exhibit. We’re open to everything, from DJ’ing, live music, performance art and beyond! The event will take place on 1st February 2019, with more details to come.

This is an incredible opportunity to work in one of the country’s leading art galleries. If you want to get involved, please fill in the submissions form below. If you would like any more information about the project, email Hadley Keenan at
