    Why should you nominate someone?

Nominating someone is a great way to recognise their efforts and hard work in a particular area. It's a way to say thank you for being amazing and making an impact in the past academic year.

    How do you nominate someone?

You can nominate them through the form below! Make sure you read the criteria and write your submission based on said criteria. Simply putting “Jane is the best lecturer” won’t help Jane win “Lecturer of the Year”, even if she has been amazing; we need evidence. The full criteria can be found at the link towards the top of this page as well as being listed on the nomination form.

How long do you have to nominate?

You can nominate from Monday 18 March to Friday 19 April (12PM)

What happens when someone is nominated?

Once nominations are closed, all submissions are reviewed, shortlisted and finalists are decided by a judging panel made up of the two sabbatical officers and members of Union staff..

What is the Union Award event?

Come dressed to impress, grab a drink from the Glasshouse bar and have a glamorous evening with students and staff from across the campuses. The event will also feature some amazing performances from some of our clubs..

But I’m on another campus, how do I get there?

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We will be putting on coach travel from Canterbury travelling to Epsom before dropping you off in Farnham. The coach will also pick you up at 2am, after the event has finished. There is a small charge for transport to contribute towards the cost. You can book your coach place on the link above along with your ticket (remember to book a coach place AND an awards ticket!)
