UCASU Spring MARKETs 2023

Our Makers' Markets are back!

Back by popular demand following the successful Winter Markets, we are hosting another market on each campus where we will have a variety sellers, creators, and crafters.

The Spring Markets will be open from 11AM - 3PM with seller set up from 10AM.

Tuesday 2nd May - 11AM till 3PM

Farnham Quad

Thursday 4th May - 11AM till 3PM

Epsom Quad

Thursday 4th May - 11AM till 3PM

Rochester Reception

Friday 5th May - 11AM till 3PM

Due to the low uptake of stalls in Epsom, we have cancelled the Spring Market on the campus. In order to make a Spring Market successful, we need to have stalls for you to shop from! On this occasion, we received a total of 2 stall applications which just doesn’t make for a Spring Market that we would be satisfied with hosting for you or expect you to be impressed with.

This doesn’t mean we are giving up by any means. You can expect our Winter Markets to return in Term 1 of the next academic year and we will be advertising for stall holders once again. We would like to encourage you to travel to other UCA campuses for our Spring Markets if you don't want to miss out! For example, we will have 77 stalls in Farnham, which we hope demonstrates the difference in levels of demand for this event on other campuses as well.

Finally, we want to welcome the opportunity for you to share feedback in response to this decision. If you’d like to share your ideas or suggestions from a student point of view on how to make our future makers markets a success in Epsom, then we would love to hear from you.
