2 year term, with opportunity to extend for a further two years.

📢 Join University for the Creative Arts Students' Union (UCASU) as an External Trustee!

We’re looking for three passionate and committed External Trustees to join UCASU’s Board. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a values-driven, student-led charity that represents over 5,000 creative students across Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, and Maidstone TV Studios.

As a Trustee, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting a meaningful and supportive student community. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with expertise in:

🔹 Finance
🔹 Human Resources (HR)
🔹 Legal & Compliance
🔹 Safeguarding
🔹 Development (Fundraising, Sponsorship)
🔹 Commercial Enterprise

This is a voluntary role with an expected commitment of 2-4 hours per month, including attending Board meetings and contributing to subcommittees.

We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are particularly keen to hear from those with English as an additional language, and those who are disabled and/or neurodivergent.
