Job Description
We’re looking for creative and enthusiastic students to join our Marketing & Communications team as Social Media Assistants (1 per campus). You’ll play a key role in shaping how the Students’ Union connects with students, producing engaging digital content that reflects student life. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in social media marketing while building a professional portfolio.
 
Key Responsibilities include:
	- 
	Capture high-quality video and photo content at UCASU events, Clubs & Society sessions, and around campus. 
- 
	Create engaging and compelling copy for student communications. 
- 
	Edit and adapt content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. 
- 
	Create engaging social media posts (reels, stories, TikToks, etc.) that resonate with current UCA students. 
- 
	Support the Marketing & Communications Manager with UCASU marketing campaigns by producing tailored digital content. 
- 
	Keep up to date with content and social media trends to bring fresh ideas to the team. 
- 
	Ensure all content reflects the UCASU brand guidelines and values.
