Are you a budding musician? Can you bang out a cracking tune on the drums? Or do you just love a good sing song in the shower? Then have we got the Society for you! The UCASU Music Society (new to 2021) gives anyone and everyone the chance to showcase their musical talents. Whether you love to sing, play an instrument, rap, beatbox, yodel, you name it, it's welcome at the UCASU Music Society. The society aims to create an album showcasing everyone’s music or songs. You can get your own music on their, do a cover, collaborate, do a solo, duet and more. Whatever genre and with however many people, its completely up to you! The group will meet one evening a week to show eachother what we've been working on, until we near the end of term where we will get in the recording studio and have everyone’s music recorded and put onto one UCASU Music Society album. This will be uploaded to a streaming platform. Should we have the opportunity to make physical copies of the album (like CDs... retro) then we would aim to sell and these and give any profits made to a charity to be chosen by the group. Along the way as well, to raise publicity, we may have the occasional mini live performance sessions. If any of this tickles ya fancy, then come a long and bring the passion, for whatever kind of music you have, to our society. We look forward to seeing you there.
