Farnham

How to get here

By road

From the M25, follow the A3 past Guildford, then exit and take the sliproad onto the A31, signposted to Farnham and Alton. At the Shepherd and Flock roundabout head straight on along the Farnham bypass (A31) to the next roundabout.

From here, take the A325, which leads into West Street, towards the town centre. Turn left into The Hart. The main entrance to the University is at the junction with Falkner Road. Car parks are to the right.

By rail

Take a National Rail train from London Waterloo to Farnham (via Woking). It is 15 minutes' walk from Farnham station to the University.

Cross the railway tracks and walk down Station Hill. Cross the A31 and continue down South Street. Turn left into Union Road, which bears right into Downing Street. When you reach West Street, turn left and continue for 200 metres before turning right into The Hart. The University is at the top of this street.

Parking

There is some parking available at the campus and our car park is behind the campus and the entrance is on Falkner Road. However this can get full especially on a week day. Exceptions are made for blue badge holders, and anyone with special requirements should contact the campus directly on +44 (0)1252 722 441 to arrange this.

If you are unable to find a parking space on campus there are two pay and display car parks very close to the campus - the Upper and Lower Hart (postcode for satnav GU9 7HA) car parks.

There are also a number of car parks located within a short distance from the campus, for further information please visit the Waverley Borough Council website.

 


Epsom

Address: Ashley Road, Epsom, Surrey, KT18 5BE

How to get here

By road

On the A3 from London, exit at the Tolworth Roundabout take the A24 heading for Epsom town centre. When you enter Epsom town centre, pass under the railway bridge, bear right into the main High Street and keep to the left hand lane, turning left at the lights into Ashley Road. Keep to the left hand lane and the University is on the left just after the turning for Heathcote Road.

From the M25, take the A24 from junction 9. Follow the road through Ashtead into Epsom, bear right onto the High Street (the clock tower will be on your right). At the next main set of lights turn right into Ashley Road. Move immediately into the left hand lane and the University is on the left just after the turning for Heathcote Road.

By rail

Take a National Rail train from London Waterloo or London Victoria to Epsom. It is five minutes’ walk from Epsom station to the University, opposite Rosebery Park in Ashley Road. As you leave the station turn left down Station Approach, then right down Waterloo Road. Cross the High Street into Ashley Road (you will need to be on the left hand side of the road). Walk past Heathcote Road and the University is on the left.

Parking

We have limited parking on campus particularly if you are visiting us on a week day. Exceptions can be made for blue badge holders, and anyone with special requirements should contact the campus directly on +44 (0)1372 728 811 to arrange this.

The nearest car parks to the campus are Depot Road (postcode for satnav KT17 4RJ) or at the Ashley Centre (postcode for satnav KT18 5AL), both are about a 5 minute walk away.

Canterbury

Address: New Dover Road, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 3AN

HOW TO GET HERE

By road

From London, take the M2 towards Dover, then the A2 at Faversham (take the exit at Junction 7).

Exit the A2 at the A2050 to Canterbury. At the outskirts of the city, take a right at St Peter’s Roundabout and follow the A290/A28 Ring Road. Turn right at the third roundabout by the cinema (signposted A2050 to Sandwich) into New Dover Road.

Immediately after the traffic lights turn left into the University drive – look for the signs to Canterbury College and to UCA. Follow the drive round to the right and UCA is on your left.

By rail

Take a National Rail train from London Victoria to Canterbury East, then take a taxi to the University (Make sure that you ask for the University for the Creative Arts in New Dover Road – Canterbury has several colleges and universities and sometimes the taxi drivers get them confused!).

Alternatively take a National Rail train from London St. Pancras International or London Waterloo East to Canterbury West, changing at Ashford International if necessary, then take a taxi to the University.

Parking

We have limited parking on campus particularly if you are visiting us on a week day. Exceptions are made for blue badge holders and anyone with special requirements should contact the campus directly on + 44 (0)1227 817 302 to arrange this.

We recommend that you use the Park and Ride car park which is on New Dover Road (postcode for satnav CT1 3EJ). The bus journey to the campus is only about 5 minutes. If you mention to the driver where you are headed they can help with stops. You can also look out for the large Canterbury College sign as the UCA campus is located to the left of this.

Rochester

Address: Fort Pitt, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1DZ

How to get here

By road

Take the M2 from either London or East Kent direction, then exit the M2 at junction 3 (A229). Follow the signs to Chatham/Rochester. After the Toys ‘R’ Us roundabout, stay in the left hand lane and continue onto City Way.

After about 2 miles, at the bottom of the hill, turn right at the mini roundabout into New Road Avenue, then after 1/4 mile turn right into Fort Pitt Hill. The entrance to the University is at the top at the hill.

By rail

Trains leave from both London Victoria and London St. Pancras stations and you can go to either Rochester or Chatham stations as our campus is an equal distance between the two. However we recommend that you go to Chatham station as the walk to the campus is slightly quicker and a more direct route. For times and details of trains please see the National Rail website.

Parking

Unfortunately there is no parking available at Rochester and visitors are encouraged to use public transport where possible. Exceptions are made for blue badge holders, and anyone with special requirements should contact UCA Rochester directly on +44 (0)1634 888 702 to arrange this.

There is some street parking is available near to the campus but this can get very busy. There are a number of car parks nearby and the nearest one is at the Pentagon Centre in Chatham (postcode for satnav ME4 4LA) or there is also King Street Car Park in Rochester (postcode for a satnav ME1 1YD). Both of these are about a 10-15 minute walk away and the campus is on top of a steep hill!
