Job Description

Join the UCASU team as part of our Bar, Shop & Cross-Campus Events Staff! We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals to help create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere in our student spaces, shops, and events.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serving drinks and handling payments at the bar
  • Assisting with event setup and breakdown
  • Providing excellent customer service to students and guests
  • Selling products and processing transactions in UCASU shops
  • Ensuring venues and shops remain clean, stocked, and safe
  • Acting as an advocate for UCASU in all capacities
  • Following licensing laws and health & safety regulations

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or events (preferred but not essential)
  • Flexibility to work late evenings, weekends, and busy periods
  • Strong communication and people skills

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across hospitality, retail, and events while working in a fun and sociable environment.
