Job Description
Join the UCASU team as part of our Bar, Shop & Cross-Campus Events Staff! We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals to help create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere in our student spaces, shops, and events.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Serving drinks and handling payments at the bar
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown
- Providing excellent customer service to students and guests
- Selling products and processing transactions in UCASU shops
- Ensuring venues and shops remain clean, stocked, and safe
- Acting as an advocate for UCASU in all capacities
- Following licensing laws and health & safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or events (preferred but not essential)
- Flexibility to work late evenings, weekends, and busy periods
- Strong communication and people skills
