WHAT IS COMMUNITIES?
Communities is the social and cultural heart of your campus. There are two sides to it – Community Groups and Community Events
COMMUNITY GROUPS
These are groups are run and maintained by students. In Farnham, we have four ‘Identity Communities’. These are based on the National Union of Students’ four main liberation campaigns: Women Students, Disabled Students, BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnicities) Students, and LGBTQ+ Students.
If you want to become a leader of one of these groups, you can find out more by contacting the Communities Coordinator at amethyst.reardon.su@uca.ac.uk.
We also offer many other oppertunities for students over on our Clubs & Socs page.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
Community events are run by the Union, for you! We set up markets and creative events, run activities for History Months, host big campus socials, celebrate cultural holidays, and more. These Community events will always be free or cheap to attend, so you can make the most of your time at UCA.
