Sustainability Community Society aims to bring people together through exploring the local environment and engaging in the local community. We would like to do this by engaging in our local environment - going on walks in the local parks and doing observational drawing sessions, upcycling/mending clothes sessions, and crafts that revolve around reusing recycled materials or items found in nature ('Trash to Treasure' Crafting). We're also interested in film screenings revolved around nature and the environment, as well as getting involved with local conservation/community groups and highlighting activities in the local area. We want to encourage our members to engage in nature, whether that be through gardening, nature themed watching/reading, or joining other community groups and activities.
