About UCASU Game Production Guild

Interested in making video games? Look no further– welcome to the Game Production Guild!

We're excited to build a community of game designers, but what does that look like? Perhaps you're an artist or a musician looking to apply your skills to something new, or maybe you love the idea of making games but don't quite know where you fit in on the development side of things? You might also be a games student looking to meet some new people and add to your portfolio. Whatever your level of experience we want you to get involved, and we're one of UCA's digital societies which means you can join from any campus!

If you decide to join us you can look forward to:

Regular Game Jams – game competitions that allow you to make a game over a short amount of time!
Long-Term Projects – perfect for building your portfolio!
Community – a space filled with other students interested in game dev!
Support and Resources – access to advice from other members, a shared collection of resources, and the best tips and tricks.
Lectures and Discussions – talks from professional game devs that enhance your understanding of the industry and introduce new ideas!

All society activities take place online so ensure you're signed up ASAP to avoid missing out. Please make sure you join via UCASU before joining the server. Membership is free!
