We focus on supporting you create your own indie games and projects with specialist help and assistance from our society's leaders!
The Indie Game Creation Society (or IGCS for short) aims to support students of UCA in creating their own personal projects that they can eventually release to the public to aid in their portfolio building. Alongside nuturing projects, we also aim to build a community of enthusastic and committed game creators who can band together once a week to share ideas, get feedback, provide or gain support and just generally have an enjoyable experience working with and around others. We will also host gamejams as part of our initative to build up teamwork and skills necessary for working as a developer and provide rewards and incentives to perform and be at the top of these gamejams and have your work recognised. We accept all levels of proficency, whether you're someone who's worked on countless games before, or someone looking to start your first ever project, swing on by and we'll be more than happy to help you!
