Welcome to the Writers Society! We're a new group dedicated to the literary arts, and we'd love for you to join us!
Our aims for the year are as follows:
Create an inclusive and welcoming environment for anyone who likes to write.
Provide students the opportunity to improve and develop their writing skills.
Invite writers to support one another by providing constructive feedback and advice.
Offer lectures that allow writers of any experience level to develop their understanding of the literary arts.
Review work and provide written feedback/suggestions within a relaxed, low-pressure environment.
Compile an anthology of works by society members each year.
Writers' workshops will run weekly on Tuesdays from 4-7pm. Come along with your work for friendly feedback and constructive support, or just a nice space to do some work! Any kind of writing is welcome, from scripts to novels, fanfiction, and coursework, we want to read it all! :)
Our lecture series will begin later in the year, more details will be announced on our socials closer to the time.
