The Stitch n’ Bitch Society is a weekly meet up of students for creative crafting while gossiping. The predominant activities would be knitting and crocheting, bringing together passionate stitchers with people who have never tried before.
The more experienced crafters can help out the beginners, allowing the exchange of knowledge to begin to form a community. There is also space for people to bring along their own craft projects or uni work if they want to come for the bitching.
To encourage the ‘bitching’ aspect between members, we have discussion prompts from recent news, hypotheticals, trends and celebrity gossip.
Everyone is welcome to come along for a free trial session at any point in the year, but we ask for a small membership fee so we can buy more yarn, needles and hooks and other fun crafts for everyone to use!
We meet in The Lounge every Tuesday from 5:15-6:30pm.
Membership is £2.50 per term or £5 for the year.
