Climbing Society exists to make climbing accessible to every student by keeping costs low and fostering a warm, supportive community. As the university’s only climbing sports society, we offer student-only discounts through our partner, Chimera Climbing Centre, and run regular sessions with optional mentoring—no pressure, no rankings, just encouragement. We’re fun, inclusive, and flexible: join group meet-ups when you like or climb solo at your own pace. Every student is welcome to get involved, discover the joy of climbing, and boost their health and wellbeing. Founded in 2025, we’re here to help you experience the best of the climbing community—one send at a time.

Due to administrative timeframes, You need to apply for your membership in advanced of your Climbing session. Chimera Receive the updated members list every Monday to update their systems in time for your Friday Climbing Session. If you are not signed-up in time you will not recieve your discount untill the following week and will have to pay full price until then.
