We currently have up to 28 awards presented at the Union Awards Ceremony, depending on the campus. Each award has secific criteria that our panel of judges will use to select shortlisted and winning nominations, so make sure to include as much information in your nominations as possible!

Club & Society Awards (3):
Club/Society of the Year
Know a club or society who were extra great this year? This can include fun events, a huge student community, or anything else!
Committee of the Year
This award specifically recognises the club or society's commitee members, who work hard all year to ensure their club/society runs smoothly.
Club/Society Person of the Year
This award recognises the club/society members who particulary stood out as someone who likes to help and encourage others, or showed amazing progress throughout the year.
Student Voice & Community Awards (4):
Undergraduate Course Rep of the Year
Course Reps sign-up at the beginning of each academic year to represent the voice of students on their course. This award recognises an undergraduate Course Rep who has gone above and beyond in their role to improve the stduent experience at UCA.
Postgraduate Course Rep of the Year
Course Reps sign-up at the beginning of each academic year to represent the voice of students on their course. This award recognises a postgraduate Course Rep who has gone above and beyond in their role to improve the stduent experience at UCA.
Volunteer of the Year
This award is for an individual who has partcipated in the UCASU volunteering scheme. This include assisting with events, fundraising and acting as student trustee or Campus Officer.
Committment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (*NEW*)
This award is for an individual, group, campaign or project which has shown committment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. This can include fundraising for a charitable cause, brinignstudents together through inclusive events, or raising awareness and educating others in inclusivity.
Teaching Awards (4):
These awards allow students to have the opporunity to give recognition to the best lecturers, technicians, tutors, and support staff.

Club of the Year
This award recognises all of our sports-based clubs.
Society of the Year
This award recognies all of our non-sports societies.
New Club of the Year
This award Recognises all of our sports-based clubs that were affiliated this academic year.
New Society of the Year
This award recognises all of our non-sports societies that were affiliated in this academic year.
Most Improved Club/Society
This award shows recognition to any club or society that has improved greatly this acadmeic year.
Committee of the Year

Best Event of the Year
This award is for the best club or society event of the year, including cultural, reigios, awareness, or night-club events.
Coach of the Year (Professional)
This award recognises the external professional coaches for any club/society.
Coach of the Year (Student)
This award recognises the current UCA student coaches for any club/society.
Best Small Club/Society
A 'small' club/society is one with less than 10 members.
Best Collaboration of the Year
This award recognises an event collaboration or partnership between 2 or more clubs or societies.
Club/Society Person of the Year
This award recognises the club/society members. This can include somene who particulary stood out as someone who likes to help and encourage others, or showed amazing progress throughout the year.
Newcomer of the Year
This award recognises a first-time committee member who has stood out and championed their club/society.
Commitment to Charitable Causes
This award recognises the clubs and societies that go above and beyond, fundraising for charitable causes throughout the year.
Lifetime Achievement Award
This award recognises a graduating committee member who has dedicated and gone above and beyond their club/society for two years or more.

This award recognises a student making campus more vibrant, active and bolstering student participation.
