£10 per hour

Up to 7 hours per week

Location: Canterbury/Epsom/Farnham/Rochester

Job Description

Reports to:
Union Development Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

Insight and research

  • Responsible for insight and research, helping to ensure data is at the core of the Union
  • Identify trends within research and communicate these to relevant team members
  • Collect responses relating to insight and all student data, as directed by the Union Development Manager
  • Provide assistance with insight related documentation and other administrative tasks


  • Promote UCASU’s insight and research opportunities through a variety of Union and University outlets
  • Work with the Marketing Brand Manager to design and publicise research opportunities


  • Provide detailed analysis of data and identify trends
  • Create reports for all requested insight and research project
  • Deliver training as and when required to all Union staff relating to self-analysis of collected data

Adhere to confidentiality and data protection and GDPR regulations.

Up to 7 hours per week. Working pattern negotiable


  • Currently studying at the University for the Creative Arts
  • Able to appropriately respond to sensitive issues, such as mental health or discrimination
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and other standard programs
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and independently when required
