SOCIAL MEDIA:
It would be great if you could promote your attendance prior and during the Fair. UCA Students’ Union’s Twitter and Instagram handles are @UCASU, and the hashtag is #UCAFreshers.

THE FAIR
We will be heavily promoting the Fair and expect a high turnout. Although the Fair is scheduled to finish at 2pm, we have the option to remain open for longer if the demand remains. Please notify us immediately if you require power or any other specific requirements and we will do our best to accommodate. There is no additional cost for power. Please also notify us if you will be using any form of display or stand with size requirements, as some areas of the Fair venue may not be suitable for you.

FLYERING
Please only distribute flyers in the immediate vicinity of the Fair. Do not roam the campus or target accommodation.

RUBBISH
You are responsible for the materials you bring to the Freshers Fair. Please dispose or recycle any leftover materials or containers before leaving.

SECURITY AND SAFETY ON CAMPUS
You are attending a university campus which is open to the public. Although UCA Canterbury has an excellent record of safety on campus, you are advised not to leave any valuables unattended. External Fair attendees and exhibitors should all be wearing Visitor ID.

EMERGENCIES
In the event of a fire or other evacuation, please leave the building immediately by the nearest escape route and gather in the designated area. Do not stop to pack up your display or collect any belongings. You will be notified when it is safe to return to the building.
