UCA Students’ Union Clubs Shop is owned and operated by University for the Creative Arts Students’ Union. Registered location: Falkner Road, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7DS, and United Kingdom. VAT No: 320 5524 00. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
By accessing, browsing and/or using the website www.clubs.ucasu.com (the Site), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this site or download any materials from it.
You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
The University for the Creative Arts name and combined logos are owned by University for the Creative Arts and are used under Licence.
When making a purchase from or via UCASU for any product, including joining clubs and societies (membership fees), payments will be processed through Worldpay. All payments are made to UCASU.
Worldpay does not store credit card details, uses industry standard SSL encryption to ensure the safety of your data and conforms with all PCI legislation.
Your order constitutes an offer to the Clubs Shop to buy the goods or services. All orders are subject to acceptance by the Clubs Shop, and the Students’ Union will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail confirming the order (Order Confirmation). The Contract will only be formed once you receive the Order Confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed by UCASU in writing, the price for the goods or services will be the price as displayed on the Site. Should value added tax be payable, the price will clearly state that value added tax is included in the price. That price is subject to the addition of all costs or charges in relation to postage, carriage and insurance.
You must make all payments due, in advance, under the Contract, without any deduction and you will receive an email from the Clubs Shop confirming receipt of all sums due.
By ordering a product you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes.
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications the Clubs Shop send to you should be in writing. When using the Site, you accept that communication with the Clubs Shop will be mainly electronic. The Clubs Shop will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on the Site. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that the Clubs Shop provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
These terms and conditions shall apply to all transactions conducted via this online Clubs Shop. Read them before you place an order and we also recommend that you print out a copy for your records. Please note that in these terms and conditions “you”, “your”, “yours” and “yourself” are references to any person ordering goods from the website, and “we”, “our” and “ours” are references to this Clubs Shop proprietor.
We may change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. Any changes will apply to subsequent orders.
To place an order for any goods you must follow the online instructions, and make sure all details submitted are accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you submit erroneous details then you may not receive the correct order at the correct address.
When you place an order you are offering to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions. We will not be bound to supply any goods ordered until we have notified you of our acceptance of an order. We are entitled to reject an order, and if we do so we will inform you that we have rejected it and also the reason for rejecting it.
All goods are advertised for sale subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the goods ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible.
All sizes and measurements shown on the website are approximate.
We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of goods is the price in force at the time of us accepting your order. If a product has been listed at a lower price by mistake and you have ordered that product, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, a full refund will be issued.
All goods are bought with an unconditional 7 day money back guarantee in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. In order to return goods under your money back guarantee, you must email us by using contact us page or write to us within 14 working days of delivery of the goods, and return within 28 days of purchase. We will refund the sums paid for the goods delivered to you as soon as possible.
Postage and Packaging
Goods will normally be dispatched within 10 working days of us accepting your order to addresses within the United Kingdom and the European Union. We will contact you by email if delivery is likely to be delayed beyond these periods, giving you the option to cancel your order.
Postage and packing shall be charged in addition to the price of the goods themselves and will vary according to the delivery address, weight and size of the goods ordered. Full payment for any goods ordered must be made by credit or debit card in advance of delivery. All prices are in UK pounds sterling. We will reserve payment from your card at the time we receive your order.
Returns and Refunds
If your clothing is damaged or faulty on receipt please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request a replacement of product within 14 days of receiving the products and return the items within 28 days of purchase. UCASU will attempt to replace that particular item.
If you’re not satisfied with other products you’ve purchased, please return the item(s) for an exchange or refund within 28 days of purchase. You must email us first and inform us of the reason for a return and tell us your Order Confirmation Number within 14 days of receipt. We will then provide you with further instructions.
All returns must be in 100% new condition, not worn, nor washed and all tags in place. Please ensure returned item(s) is packaged safely, as we cannot accept damaged returns. We will assess all returned item’s condition and refuse any damaged, worn or washed items. Any costs associated with sending such refused items back to you are your responsibility.
When returning goods you may take the items to the Students’ Union office on your campus and obtain a returns receipt or return by post. Please ensure that you send returned goods back using recorded and insured delivery, so you have proof of posting. Any costs associated with the return of items by you to us are your responsibility, including costs of sending exchanged / or refused items back to you. Refunds, if applicable, will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original transaction.
To cancel an order, please contact us immediately.
Cancelled orders that have been processed will be refunded if the items have not as yet been dispatched.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations for products that have already been shipped and our Return Policy will apply in that case.
We accept no liability for any loss or corruption of data held on your computer, or for any other loss or damage of any kind that occurs to your computer as a result of you accessing our website.
This agreement shall be governed by the law of England and Wales.
The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for the resolution of all disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement.
These terms and conditions shall constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No variation of these terms and conditions shall be valid unless it is in writing and signed by the parties.

Tickets are sent via a reference numbered email, which you must use as stated on the email. You must show valid proof of ID to redeem entry into the event or to collect physical tickets from our box office. Please allow two working days between ordering and collecting your ticket(s).
Over 18s Only – Student ID is required by members, guests must have a Driving Licence or Passport. No other form of ID is accepted.
Guests will be required to be signed in by a student; this can be done prior to the event and handed in on entry. Full responsibility for the actions of the guests is taken by the student signing them in.
UCASU reserves the right to refuse admission, especially if patrons are believed to be too intoxicated or ID is not acceptable.
Normal licensing laws apply.
Refunds & Cancellations
ALL TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
All tickets sold for SU events, are subject to the terms and conditions set out by the University. A breach of any of these conditions may render your ticket invalid.
All sales are final, and refunds are not available on tickets once they have been purchased (including duplicates or purchases made in error, tickets bought for the wrong event or non-attendance due to illness or injury). Please note that this is standard practice at every entertainments venue in the UK.
In the event of UCASU completely cancelling an event (as opposed to rescheduling) tickets will be refunded to the original purchaser at the price paid, via the means paid less the booking fee. Tickets will not be refunded under any other circumstances.
UCASU will not refund tickets if we have to cancel or change the event in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure). These can include, for example, war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity and its consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, epidemics and pandemics, unavoidable technical problems with venues.
If the event has been stopped whilst in progress due to circumstances beyond our control, which may be deemed as too unsafe to continue. In this instance, a decision will be made by management as to whether refunds will be offered to those with tickets. However, refunds will only be given in special circumstances and as approved by management.
All tickets advertised for sale are subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the tickets ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. Please note that booking fees are NOT refundable.
In all instances management’s decision is final, based on the individual circumstances, and not open to discussion.
THERE ARE NO OTHER INSTANCES IN WHICH A REFUND MAY BE OFFERED. If you have a question or query, then please contact the UCASU Directly.
Physical Ticket Replacement
For events with physical tickets such as the Summer Ball, it is the responsibility of the individual purchaser to keep their ticket safe once it has been collected. Please note that replacement tickets will not be issued in the event of their loss or damage, and will need to be repurchased in this instance. It is advised that you write your name and Student number on the back of your ticket so that it can be returned if handed in.
Tickets cannot be resold. If you purchase a ticket and cannot go please return it to the SU office and a refund will be given at managements discretion.
Places are limited and tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis!

Whilst every effort is made to ensure this site provides a safe environment for all visitors, the dynamic and open nature of areas such as the discussion forums and noticeboards prevent the Students’ Union from monitoring all content posted here. Content of a questionable nature can be reported to the UCASU.
UCASU is not responsible for the content of third party sites.
UCASU Clubs Shop will never make your personal details available to other companies for marketing purposes. We will keep a record of your address details with the intention of sending your order.
Information you enter into our registration forms may be collected and stored briefly by us so that we may contact you in relation to the nature of your attempted transaction, even if you do not confirm the transaction.
The Clubs Shop reserves the right to defer the date of delivery or to cancel the Contract for all circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to any strike, lockout, disorder, fire, explosion, accident or stoppage of or affecting the Clubs Shop’s business or work and which prevents or hinders the ability to operate within these terms.
The Clubs Shop shall, in no circumstances, be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence) warranty or otherwise, in respect of any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses or damages were foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise):
Indirect or consequential loss or damage;
Loss which could have been avoided by you through reasonable conduct.
If for any reason you will not accept delivery of the goods or the services:
Risk in the goods or services will still pass to you at the time that the goods or the services were delivered to you and you refused to accept them;
The Clubs Shop confirms that (subject to the other provisions of these terms and conditions) the goods upon delivery will be of satisfactory quality within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979. Subject to this clause, the Clubs Shop will not be liable for a breach unless You give written notice of the defect to the Clubs Shop, within fourteen (14) days after the time when the you discovered or ought to have discovered the defect; and if asked to do so by the Clubs Shop, you return the goods to the Clubs Shop at the cost of the Clubs Shop and the Clubs Shop is given a reasonable opportunity to examine the goods.
