[OTHER STUDENT TRUSTEE CANDIDATES: GEORGE BRABHAM]

ABOUT ME:

I’m a 22 yr old Photographer with an interest in events promotion with a focus on community involvement.

IF ELECTED, HOW WOULD YOU CREATE MORE OF A COMMUNITY?

Rally students to take part in more Student Run Student Union nights.
Arrange an extra curricular
Retrofit the current system of staff-student communication regarding pre-existing community nights (Games Nights,Film Nights,Speciality nights)

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS?

Professional practise system(Clubs, Open Groups/Meetings) to allow students to integrate and prosper from the locals business via employment or co-operation.
Explore avenues that would allow for communication with local council regarding the university.

HOW WOULD YOU INSPIRE STUDENTS TO HAVE A VOICE?

Promoting visible changes, pointing out any key catalysts within the community and engaging with the respective audiences while also networking with the background, relaying important information to the consensus to include a larger demographic while minimising any subsequent, or apparent, repetition of irrelevant data.

Image is a key that can open or close doors, in terms of the university, the latter is something we can’t afford to do when it comes to listing to students and knowing they’ve been heard, by having the SU photographer as a willing ear i hope i can attract a larger audience of students who would otherwise be daunted by somebody they didn’t know as well.
