WIDAD ‘DODI’ KAZMA – NUS DELEGATE CANDIDATE

[OTHER NUS DELEGATE CANDIDATES: GEORGE BRABHAM | JOEL GOLDMAN]

ABOUT ME:

I am UCA Epsom’s Campus Officer for the Students’ Union and a BA (Hons) Fashion graduate.

IF ELECTED, HOW WOULD YOU CREATE MORE OF A COMMUNITY?

Having been part of UCA Students’ Union for the past 4 to 5 years, I’ve been very involved with the university’s and the unioin’s activities both, when I was a full time student and now as Epsom’s full time Campus Officer.

I’m still very passionate and keen to build on my previous work at the union to create a stronger student community. The union is now at an exciting place, with great potential!

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS?

As an NUS delegate, I want to raise UCA students voice more nationally. I believe UCA students should have a better representation opportunity amongst other unions across the country.

HOW WOULD YOU INSPIRE STUDENTS TO HAVE A VOICE?

Having been part of the Student Council for 3 years as a student, and 2 years as a Student Trustee and now as the full time Campus Officer, I have been inspired by the student voice myself and want to take that to the next level and through NUS to inspire more students to have a voice, now and in the future.
