Tasha for Your Next Student governor?
Tasha Collins: I’m in first year BA honours illustration animation, I’ve also spent two previous years at uca Rochester doing extended diploma art and design. I believe id be an asset for the role of student governor as I speak my mind, I am motivated, keen, committed, creative, understanding and a good listener.
I am also a resident student, who has seen both sides of the uni life and can relate to many students.
Why should you pick me?
I want to be able to voice all students, if you want something changed or just want to put forward an opinion, ill do everything with in my power as student governor to get and fight for want you want.
I few things I believe I can change are:
Keeping the uni shop open longer for those hard working and committed students who spend their evenings slaving away at there work then to run out of material and find the shop shut!
For those who get stressed and just crave a fag but have to stand out in the rain to have one, a shelter would be necessary would you not agree?
The one thing everyone has a bit of an issue with … parking! if its not double yellows it’s an unaffordable price, it shouldn’t be first come first serve. what are we supposed to do when we’ve got bundles of work to take back home to work on and its poring with rain?
