Five Steps to Voting

Step 1: Request a password

Look in your UCA emails and look for an email with the title: "Voting is now open!". Open this email, follow the link and request a password.

Step 2: Follow the link in your new email

You will now receive a new email, follow the link in this one.

Step 3: Select any relevant self-definition boxes.

This fill affect what positions you vote for. For example, only people who define themselves as women, can vote for the position of Women's Officer. Only students who self-define as disabled can vote for Students with Disabilities Officer.

Dyslexia and depression are both examples of disabilities. If you're unsure if you suffer from a disability, check the Equality Act (2010)  Under their definition, "You’re disabled if you have a physical or mental impairment that has a ‘substantial’ and ‘long-term’ negative effect on your ability to do normal daily activities."

Step 4: Mark your preferences

Go through the positions and give your preferences. 1 is your preferred candidate, 2 would be your second favourite, etc. For more information on this, check out the voting page of our website.

Remember to check out there manifestos, which you will find under their names.

You can skip positions if you wish to.

Step 5: Confirm your selection

You will come to a page that summarises all the information you have given and your voting preferences. You then confirm all of this.
