Motion - Change to the ‘Campus Officer’ title.
This motion seeks to change the current title of sabbatical officers from ‘Campus Officer’ to ‘Campus President’. As a 5 campus motion it must be passed by at least 3 campuses to be implemented.

Result: Motion parts were passed. The council agreed with parts submitted from the Maidstone council that neither ‘Campus Officer’ nor ‘Campus President’ accurately reflected the position that the Sabbatical Officers hold within UCASU and that other titles should be sought through the councils at each campus.

Action: The amendments and possible alternatives will be discussed at future Student Councils on all campuses.

Motion - that UCASU to Campaign against Fee’s and cuts.
As a 5 campus motion this must be passed by 3 campuses to be enacted on.

Result: Motion denied. The council deemed that each action should be evaluated on an individual basis and that the union should not support every action without review.

Action: Awaiting the result of other campus student councils.

Motion - Motion for Transport to Demonstrations.
This motion, if passed mandates the Union to provide transport for students to national demonstrations. As a 5 campus motion this must be passed by 3 campuses to be enacted on.

Result: Motion Passed. The council decided that even if not able or deemed unproductive to completely finance students attending national demonstrations that UCASU should offer some form of transport for demonstrations that significantly reduces the financial burden of students taking public transport.

Action: Awaiting the result of other campus student councils.

Jonathan Dean was co-opted onto the Student Council as the LGBT Officer for Farnham.
