Hello there! I’m Anthony Gray, your Canterbury Campus Officer and I’m from a little place called the North.

My main purpose here is to make sure all those around me are having a good time. I want to promote a healthy work – social balance whereby we have fun things to do at the right time of day and year.

I studied Architecture and know how much effort everyone puts in at this university. When back up North I enjoy watching live bands and eating chips and gravy.

I want to put a renewed enthusiasm back into the union and university, with a focus on the student experience. If you want to start a club or society let me know, if you are struggling with your course or with life in Canterbury let me know, basically if you have a question or query let me know!

I will be able to help or point you in the right direction. I can work my socks off to get stuff happening on campus but it will only go at a snail’s pace unless you help out, turn up and take part. So let’s all have a fresh start.

Have a great year!

Anthony Gray

What Students Say...

When concerns and worries about course and university issues were at a distressing tipping point, the Union helped me rationalise and encourage a student-led defence against the problems

TE, Maidstone, July 2012

UCASU has provided me with the support to set up a society that will benefit so many students.

AW, Epsom, July 2012

Thanks for an amazing three years and for helping me so much.

SK, Farnham, June 2012

The Union gives hope... when winter is coming.

LW, Maidstone, July 2012

The Union is an extremely effective group that helps students solve problems arising from course or academic areas.

LW, Epsom, July 2012

The Union brought back Life Drawing to the Illustration department after it was cancelled. Life drawing was an integral part of our practice so it was greatly appreciated when it returned!
