What is Sustainability???

We hear the words ‘sustainable’ and ‘sustainability’ almost every day. But what does it mean exactly?

Screen_GreenWeek

February 8-12 marks the nationwide Green Week where events engage students and staff in sustainability issues. And UCA SU is no different!

We bring you a week full of events where you can find out more about going green, sustainable living and that even the small things can make a difference.

There are events which will inspire you to create art from ocean waste, Permaculture (if you don’t know what that is there is a guest speaker coming in to tell you) and even growing your own food which is a great way to save money!

If nothing strikes your fancy why not go along to the showing of ‘You’ve Been Trumped‘ a documentary about Donald Trump and a local community in Scotland who tries to fight back when he gets set to destroy Scotland’s national heritage.

Have a look below at our event list and if you have any ideas get in touch and be involved next year!
